Today, Barb is feeling: slightly under the weather.
not enough to warrant much other than lots of water and a few cough drops, but enough to make me want to sleep the whole night through. from about 6 until 7am. but atleast now i am well rested and pretty much starting to really have my body adjust.

so i just got done with breakfast.
breakfast is from 7:30 am until 8 am.
then classes at 8:30, 10:30, lunch at 12:15
that the the morning schedule, i dont have the afternoon schedule set fully in my mind yet.

so we got assigned jobs in the palace, and i get to do Monday and Wednesday lunch prep. so that will give me something to go and it is working with Henri our chef. he is so FUN!

so yesterday i had my one class of Ethical Leadership.
it will be a good class, and then i had my SCC, Scottish Culture Colluequim class.
that will be an interesting class. there aren't really any class classes, we meet like a total of 5 times the semester. but we have to write a paper and make a presentation about Scotlanda and what not. so it will just include all the stuff that we do here and all the trips and all that stuff.

the today i have Human Resource Management.
and then later tonight i have Exploring the Brtitish Gothic Novel. it will be 3 hours once a week on Tuesday nights, but i think it will be good.
and then my wednesday i will have lunch prep and ethical leadership.
and thursday i will have H.R.M.

as you can tell, i only have 4 classes, (12 credits)
now when i first came over here, i had 5 classes, 15 credits. then when we had orientation going on, Mary (our Resident Director, who has been here for 8 semesters) told us that we should all think about taking 12 credits. there were some people who were taking 17 or 18 credits! Mary said that taking more than the 12 credits is more trouble than it is worth. she said that there are always people who come crying to her halfway through the semester about not being able to do everything that they wanted to do becuase of all the work. now, the 12 credits includes the internships that some people are doing. this means that they have the SCC class, one required Brit class, and then internship. now when i was told this, i wasnt sure if i wanted to drop the one extra class that i had. but i decided to becuase then i would have been in BOTH literature classes and they weren't allowing anyone to do both since in Womens Lit, we would have read about 6 books and then in Gothic Novels we are going to read about 7 books. there is only one person that is in both, and that is my friend Sarah because she is an English Lit major and she needs both of them. so yea,
i am trying to remember what else i have for you all but i can't remember.
i will talk to you all laters!
